Cloud of Witnesses: Charles Haddon Spurgeon
Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892) was a British Baptist preacher and author who was one of the most influential figures in the religious world during the late 19th century. He is best known for his powerful and eloquent sermons, which drew large crowds to the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, where he preached for nearly 38 years. He was also a prolific author, publishing many books and articles on theology and Christian living.
